With its slightly smaller capacity, the ACMI Cinema is the perfect space for getting up close and hands on with your subject matter. For a more in-depth and personal experience, most of our smaller workshops will be taking place here.

Workshop Area - Koorie Heritage Trust

Located at the very heart of Fed Square precinct on the second floor, this venue is just exceptional and surrounded by traditional and contemporary Aboriginal art and artifacts. This is another new venue dedicated only to workshops.

Business Breakfast - TAXI Kitchen

Huge contemporary restaurant with creatively-presented meals, and windows looking out to the city is the perfect backdrop for business breakfast to kick off the last day of Pause Fest. We know you going to like this new venue.

Startup Expo - Atrium Fed Square

With its 15m suspended ceiling and cantilevered opening onto Flinders Street, The Atrium is an impressive highlight on Melbourne’s cityscape. Considered the nerve centre of Federation Square, The Atrium is a galleria-like structure of glass and steel, which will play host to the Pause Startup Expo. Its direct link through to the Deakin Edge theatre allows easy access between the two venues, making for an altogether more flexible festival experience.
