We have carefully crafted Pause 2018 Programming team with an absolute eco-system champions to start preparing you for the 10th Anniversary of Pause in 2020 - NOW. The team consists of dynamic multi-talented industry veterans deeply plugged in the creative, tech and business space.
This new change also means there will be a rigorous process in judging submitted programming entries to select only the very best. The team will make sure all final content is double checked before it hits the stage answering our 'content you can't Google' premise whilst the rest of us will engineer your next level of networking and speakeasy crawls.

Andrew Hyde - Founder - Startup Weekend /USA
Founder of four startups that combine his passion for community, writing, travel and entrepreneurialism, Andrew Hyde is the man behind Ignite Boulder, TEDxBoulder, Startup Weekend and Boulder’s first boco conference, which brings a jam-packed mix of food, tech and music sessions.
Monika Bielskyte - Strategist - AFE /Earth
Bielskyte is a creative director and strategist in the intersection of culture and technology; focusing on immersive media technologies and new, digital formats of reality (AR/MR/VR).
Jeremy Boxer - Filmmaker - Sonar+D /USA
Jeremy is an award-winning filmmaker and creative director based New York and London, working at the leading edge where film, technology, and art intersects. He was the Creative Director of Film & Video of Vimeo, where he led the editorial and creative strategy across all Vimeo platforms and brand partnerships. He created Vimeo On Demand and was Co-founder and Director of the Vimeo Festival & Awards. As a curator, he has been Head of Programming for Tribeca Enterprise’s Tomorrow Unlimited and Head of International Operations and Senior Programmer for the first ever global digital film festival, RESFEST. He is the curator of Sónar+D's virtual realities content.

KP is an engaged member of Victoria's startup community. She is COO of Rome2rio, a regular speaker and teacher at General Assembly and RMIT and served as co-lead for Start Up Victoria's Female Founders. She likes making stuff, friends, and lists.
Garry Williams - General Manager - inspire9
Simon Small - Director of Solutions - Lexer
After founding a digital agency at 19, Simon (Biggie Smalls) went on to co-found Social Media Club Melbourne, build a team of 35 strategists at Isobar which lead to presenting at TED Global in Brasil and is now a VP at data innovator, Lexer. Outside work it’s all about board games, gin, dogs, frisbee and good food.
Emma Forster - Marketing Lead - inspire9
Emma is passionate about creating and collaborating. Her experience spans across marketing, communications, events, the arts, tech and creative industries. She is a community builder and thinker with purpose, currently leading the marketing at Inspire9 in Melbourne.
Giuseppe (Pino) Demaio - Director - Local Peoples
As Principal and Creative Director of Local Peoples, Pino and his team are on a mission to use design as a force for good and build socially responsible businesses who consider their impact on people and the planet.
Jeanette Cheah - Co-Founder - The Hacker Exchange
Jeanette is co-founder & Chief Strategy Officer of The Hacker Exchange, connecting the next generation of Aussie founders to Silicon Valley; co-creator of the Gingerbread Demolition; and helps to build FinTech projects at ANZ. She's into marketing, innovation, startup events, diversity and cheese - often all at the same time.
Andrew Ranger - Founder - Skymorials
Andrew Ranger is an Internet Entrepreneur with a passion for marketing, digital technology and the arts. Andrew recently co-founded Skymorials.com. Skymorials is an online memorial software that helps families and friends create a place to remember their loved ones legacy online. Since 2013 Andrew has been a Director on the Board of ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image) Australia’s second most popular musuem, and is an external media advisor to the Lord Mayor Robert Doyle. His passion for digital and creative marketing started from a young age, and cemented itself after working as a Marketing Strategist with the innovative team at The Taboo Group marketing agency.
Michelle Mannering - Hackathon Queen - Bajaboard
Michelle is known as the 'Hackathon Queen' within Melbourne's startup and tech ecosystem, and for good reason. Avid attendee of hackathons all around the city, as well as mentor and tech advisor, Michelle is a frequent collaborator within Melbourne's entrepreneurial community.
